Urgent Care Hours

Pediatric Urgent Care in Irving, TX

When your child is sick or injured, waiting isn’t something you (or your child) like to do. Feeling better quickly and getting back to school or play is your number one priority for your child, so it’s ours, too.

Conveniently located at 8200 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving (Near Las Colinas and Valley Ranch) Family ER + Urgent Care is here to help your child feel comfortable while receiving the best quality medical care available.

Little to No Wait

Who like spending time in the waiting room? The national average waiting time in a pediatricians office is 20 -30 minutes (longer if it’s a Monday, typically the most crowded days of the weeks for pediatricians). At Family ER + Urgent Care, it’s less than 2 minutes. We’ll get you and your child checked in, treated, and back to school, sports or home in the entire time it takes to wait for a pediatrician!

Have you ever thought about the air quality in a pediatrician or doctor’s office? Small, crowded office spaces are the last place you want to be with a sick child. Our facility has a specially-designed air system that keeps clean air circulating throughout the building, reducing your chances of being exposed to an airborne illness.

If it’s an Emergency, there’s one Next Door

Sometimes we think something is routine with our kids (‘it’s just a runny nose’) but it ends up being more serious. While we hope that doesn’t happen, the good news in our Emergency Department is on site and ready to jump in if your little one needs help. There’s an on-site lab – CT Scan, Ultrasound and Digital X-rays (all designed to help put kids at ease) so you can get all testing done on site.

Less Time Waiting = Less Time Being Exposed to Germs

That’s right. The more time spent at a pediatrician’s office, the more time your child is exposed to other common viruses, like colds. Our waiting room is open and spacious (three times the size of a typical waiting room).  Even if you are seated for one or two minutes, you’re far away from others who may be sick or spreading germs.
